We must pull together to retain our long established businesses in Shetland. SLAP should not be left with the power to act in such a hapless and careless manor....

If it is anything like England most eviction notices are illegal.. They are not signed by a judge with a wet signature. They do not have an embossed seal (something which alters the state of the paper. They don not have the actual court and the date is not within the seal. I suggest that you research the law on this andthen serve notice on the top ranking police officer who may support the bailiffs if you do not do that. Secondly if Shap is a wholly owned subsidary of the charity. The company is bound by the charity's rules. My email [email protected] if you want to correspond. I have no qualifications but I have stopped evictions in England

What kind of landlord suggests alternative sites to a long-established tenant that is not only highly-respected, but has proved itself to be valuable within the community, particularly when evicting HNP would throw the future of the company and its workforce into question?
There must be supporting documentation regarding the bidding process, but the fact that SLAP is so reluctant to speak to the media leaves us to draw our own conclusions. If the SCT truly cannot intervene in this case, then the relevant terms, conditions, rules and regulations need looked at.

No more corporate sell - offs of our assets and resources. Government grants should be freely available to small business to compensate for re-diverting the country's wealth to corporate giants.

I am disgusted with the treatment of a small local firm that has served Shetland well for the past half a century.

HNP provide a vital service to the marine and fishing industries in Shetland. It's very to disappointing to see them being treated this way by a subsidiary company of the Shetland Amenity Trust,

THE CHARITABLE TRUST ! Currently if they were brought to court on charges of being charitable or trustworthy, The case I think would most likely have to be thrown out as at the present time it is questionable if enough substantive evidence could be found to convict them on either charge.
Good luck!
