This is not something Thornbury/Town of Blue Mountains needs.

I'll push my truck past this station before supporting it. Un-needed, unwanted.

Not in favour of yet another gas station in town! .... many other possibilities to enhance the community! I would not use this gas station.

I am absolutely against this! It will forever change our quant sandwich board sign town! Let’s look to building something that serves a purpose of something we actually need! With our little community expanding this parcel of land in question would serve perfectly to connect the growth... I invision a beautiful building that could house a couple shops perhaps a store geared towards children? In the back a community building. A place to have an information office and a gathering spot:) connect the downtown with the pharmacy, Tim’s etc and the most important connect them all to the harbour!!!! Not for this location but we desperately need to invest in a spirts complex geared for young and old!!! These are thoughts and suggestions that would help us grow with dignity and purpose!

I strongly oppose the proposed ESSO gas station in downtown Thornbury. We have enough stations for our gas needs already,

The reasons for not proceeding with this are many & have been well spelt out. Everyone I know is planning on boycotting the place -- and for good reason.

This gas station is not needed by the residents of our charming town. It will add to the appearance of a gasoline alley with noise, traffic i and safety issues for the surrounding neighbourhood.

The beginning of the Bayfield St.look in Barrie!!! No need for 3 gas stations in Thornbury, overkill, not to mentioned destroying property values, environmental concerns and traffic congestion on one the south side of 26!

Thornbury did not even need a second gas station. In NO way does it need a third, especially at that location. It does nothing for the good of the town or it’s residents

There’s no need for another gas station. Thornbury is loved for its entrepreneurial feel, not for it’s excessive number of gas stations. The negative affect on the air is likewise unwanted in a residential neighbourhood.

Esso is not welcome in our small town core. We don't need another gas station there. I will boycott the use.

Why would the small town of Thornbury need more gas stations!? GREED! That's what it is all about. ):

We dont want to become a town of fast food and Gas Stations. We already have enough with New Orleans and The 2 gas stations. Never has there ever been a line or over demand for either. New businesses need to have the same look, feel and spirit of entrepaneurs and keeb the cool vibe that we have. Lets not loose the identity that is so vital to the town and what attracts the people to it.
