UB should be ashamed of themselves. 3 of the baseball players live on my floor and they have been making tons of phone calls trying to figure out what to do. They really got screwed over here

The school made a mistake when it decided to disband the rowing, soccer, baseball, and swimming teams. Hopefully we can fix this :)

Diving is an amazing program that all colleges should have. I disagree with the cancellation at Buffalo.

Very discouraging to eliminate diverse athletics that define character and the spirit of competitiveness. Short sightedness will in the end result in limiting high caliber and well rounded students. Look for solutions to save these athletics.

This problem can be solved with a reallocation of funding from the other sports to those who are about to be cut

This is BS, the baseball team is on the rise seeing more and more athletes advancing to the next level. Drop football to FCS and come to the realization that they won't compete

My good friend and fellow swimmer had been working all year to get into UB for swimming. After all the hard work he put in, and countless SAT attempts his hard work finally payed off and his dream of swimming for the UB Bulls was a reality...however with this recent cut in sports and men's swimming and diving in particular, his dreams have been crushed. He is emotionally destroyed and his life is taking an unexpected turn...now he is left with no other options due to the terrible timing of this decision, and I would hate to be in his situation. This needs to be put to a stop.

The elimination of these sports has the potential to seriously harm the university as it will push away prospective students by representing a lack of commitment and forcing them to compete on rivalry schools in the area

Not right for a big university to cut out multiple programs without any warning. They can make money of the student athletes but not pay them. NOT RIGHT
