As a fellow competitor in the MAC in swimming and diving, it would be a very bad thing for the conference to lose the sport. The swim team was always great competition and had fantastic character too.

Buffalo Men's Swimming and Diving has brought consistently strong competition to the MAC. As a newly graduated Miami swimmer I can say it was an honor to swim against these men, not only because of their skill but because of their drive and spirit. The MAC needs this team.

I'm a proud Bull, and I think there are better options for saving money than eliminating teams out of nowhere.

This puts a bad rep on the school, the administration, and all the student athletes that had no say or warning.

Being someone who has some experience in University level administration, there is no way that the AD didn't know about what was going to happen, they must have known that programs were going to get cut for at least 6 months at the absolute minimum. The administration CHOSE not to say anything to those athletes and coaches, and there is not other way to describe it other that unethical.

As a swimmer myself, the sport and people that I have met throughout my career have made me who I am today. Getting rid of this team would be getting rid of these boys family away from home.

This happens too often to the non money making sports. It's incredibly unfair to your athletes. I understand the financial decision but at what price?

This is more than a sport for these young adults! This builds strength and character. It teaches accountability, teamwork, responsibility. It is for physical and mental health. All sports count!
