I am deeply saddened for my daughter who was a prospective coxswain for the UB Women's rowing team. She was hoping to stay in the area where she learned to row and support the area. Womens rowing is one of the top scholarship opportunities for girls

I know an excellent swimmer who has already committed to this team. Now, he is suddenly stuck without options. Very unfair and unprofessional.

UB alum and USMS swimmer. Disappointed in UB and supporting the men's swim program. Looks like the men are going to start needing to work on getting Title protection for their sports now. Three men's sports cut? Could have told coaches before they worked so hard to recruit and sign kids. Not fair to those athletes at all! UB should hook up with Diocese of Buffalo for screwing people over.

Kid's chose this school for athletic reasons! Think of them , their hard work and the coaches who help them. Disgraceful to do this to this!

As a collegiate track and field athlete I stand with my brothers and sisters of the other "not flashy enough" college sports.

Student athletes but a lot of time, effort and heart into their sports. It is unfair to take away the sports that they have worked so hard for season after season.

This is a very sad day for UB sports. These women rowers have worked their butts off getting ready for this spring's competitions. Just when they are about to attend their first event you announce, with advanced no notice, that their program is being terminated. You have really screwed over these young people. This program is the reason why these athletes chose to come to UB in the first place. Please reinstate the sports programs.

Keep the swim and dive! Your athletes work hard and love the school, don't make them leave.
