Sports, a positive environment for people of all ages. Don't ruin the health and fitness of your students.

These athletes CHOSE to continue competing in their sport at UB. They passed up on other offers to represent UB. To take away that opportunity for them so late in the year with no warning is disgusting. My heart goes out to the athletes and the incoming freshman who signed their NLI's. Now they have to scramble to find another school if they want to compete. As a swimmer myself, this is so disheartening to hear about. Please keep these programs!

Raise the fund so to support the other programs. Don't cut programs that positively contiribute to the overall success in the athletic department.

Back in my day (circa '57), my Niagara University swimming team swam against the UB team. Never a better bunch of guys and I'm sure the guys and gals on current teams carry on the tradition. Tradition is one of our college years fondest memories. Cutting sports programs is NOT the way to balance budgets.

I would rather keep these programs than continue investing more money into our football program.

At least phase out the sports like Clemson did with their men and women's swimming team. It's awful but at least you give the athletes time to find another team with scholarships available.

Totally unacceptable! The students who were granted scholarships by Uof Buffalo should be able to continue in their studies!!!!

It is disheartening to hear of the programs being slated to go. UB has rich traditon of athletics and I know si many who passed through in swimming. Please look for alternatives.

Please save UB Swimming!
Keep this opportunity for the recruits, and present and future swimmers!
The swimmers and other athletes work so hard, are dedicated and put their trust and heart into their sport and UB.
Please honor that trust and reconsider the decision...Choosing the athletes future over monetary concerns. Thank you.

Keep the program, there are so many benifits to having athletic teams.
