This is pathetic and reverse discrimination and I'm so tired of it! Universities take our money and this is the outcome! This must stop now!

A great university like UB should have a great athletic background. I don't have a reason for the elimination, so please get them back

Eliminatint America's most dominant Olympic sport (swimming) in a town that has several dominant US teams and a Buffalo tradition (rowing) just shows how out of touch the administration is with the city of Buffalo

It isn't fair for the students nor staff. Especially because it's a division one school. It's a great sports school. So to cut that for one is a wrong in doing. Soccer in western New York is big and growing and to cut that out of the blue without warning is crazy. Now those students who came to UB recruited off a sports based scholarship what happens to them? Now they have to find another way to pay college and fast. And there is rumors of the reason of cuts is to fund the football team. The football team is ass and Buffalo already has the bills. The swimming and diving and soccer are Olympic sports we had three kids from the area make it to the MLS . Imagine people from cross country just come for that. It's a shame honestly.

It's a tragedy that this school is taking away the chance for kids do something they love. Sports are an amazing outlet for kids and give everyone amazing opportunities I sincerely hope this school rethinks its choice

I competed with some buffalo swimmers over the past 3 years has been incredible, they are some true athletes and shouldn't be held back from a great future

A total farcical decision. I would bet 2 million dollars could be easily be cut from the budget without cutting sports.
