My son was signing there next Friday. He had already told his present university and they gave away his roster spot and scholarship money and signed a new player. MY SON NOW HAS NO SCHOOL TO GO TO IN THE FALL. this is disgusting what has happened.

I think that it is unfair that some sports are cut while others are not. It doesn't give the people a chance to show the colleges and world how good they are.

I met a wonderful man at YMCA nationals who was committed to UB for swimming. He told me they cancelled the men's swim team so he has to look other places now. Please don't do this to him and keep the teams!!!

I can't imagine the turmoil these poor students are going through right now because the college they trusted with their future pulled the rug out from under them. This is shameful.

This is a small amount of the budget -but huge to the athletes. Please reconsider.

"Student life is a large part of any college experience. Apart from academics, a sense of community and entertainment is central to colleges and student retention. Collegiate sport programs, just like professional sports, entertain crowds. Students flock to games and contests on campus in their spare time and cheer on the home team. When rival teams come to town, the college community comes together to offer support. Athletic teams are campus commonalities increase student satisfaction on campus, whether a student participates in a sport or not".

I strongly encourage UB to seek ways to stay within their budget without cutting athletic opportunities for students.

Swimming is a terrific sport that teaches athletes to be healthy in mind, spirit, and body.

I am a fellow MAC swimming Alumnis out of EMU. One of the premier teams of this league is being relegated to a memory and it saddens me deeply.

At least, let the current students finish by postponing this decision until they all graduate or transfer.

This is poor administration. Pouring resources into college football in Western New York is a colossal waste of money

Kind of late in the game for new recruits to be shut out of other options due to deadlines. Thanks UB.
