Keep the existing courts to save costs. Build a new bathroom facility, sure. But a rec center is a colossal waste of money.

Especially at this time, when so many are struggling, this is unnecessary. Doylestown has done a wonderful job preserving quality of life and community supports. There is nothing wrong with a few more outside facilities according to what residents use, but such a large facility as the rec center is a redundancy. Moreover, there needs to be some consideration that we are in a time of evident climate change and therefore must reduce our insatiable permitting of ever more impermeable surfaces.

Please consider how this affects our ever-growing taxes. My vote is no. Do we really need this?

Don’t agree with this Rec Center. We have a YMCA. And our taxes will go way up, no thanks!

I don’t feel this is an acceptable tax increase.
Facilities are currently available. I don’t feel the need.

This Needless spending needs to be stoped, as a resident this is not what we want or need.

There is a ton of space at the YMCA that is not being used effectively. Why spend that kind of money when construction costs are insane and the economy is tanking.

Concerns about increased cost jumps and the board identifying a need for park extras outside of additional bathrooms and pickle ball courts.

This is not needed. There are plenty of passive recreational trails and gyms, such as the YMCA to have to burden taxpayers needlessly. With everything in world going up. Cancel this project and keep taxes affordable .

Absolutely not paying for this! You take enough money from us and this is Not necessary! Shame on any board member or resident that approves it. We will be attending the next meeting to oppose.
