Very bad intersection. Numerous accidents. No place for this type of business. Add to that the possibility of contaminated ground water.
I would love a car wash in Chester Heights but not at that intersection. My experience is exiting left or right on Valleybrook. Valleybrook is a a hill and I face challenges leaving Darlington Woods. The steady stream of cars will only intensify with Franklin Station. How about on the other side of RT 1, up a few blocks on right, up from Concord Pizza a bit.
I have nothing against car washes. I do oppose a car wash on the proposed corner of Rt1 and Valley Brook Rd. Traffic will become more hazardous than it already is. Yes, accidents do happen at this intersection and I happen to have been hit by a driver running a red light.
This will increase an already hazardous intersection and cannot possibly handle the 300-700 cars daily they hope to accommodate. Their traffic studies did not even have local school and playground proximity on it. Let it be build in his neighborhood, not ours.
Variance request mean it isn’t to code so there is already a reason not to do it
Could also lead to many cars turning around on Logtown Road and at nearby townhouse development.

I think chester heights is one of a few small towns left that has not crumbled to development (so far) I would like to keep it that way...the traffic has already increased on vallybrook down to lenni road from people avoiding baltimore pike...which will get worse once the train station and housing gets completed
