It would be a pity to spoil a beautiful beach and surrounding area. This must be stopped. Unfortunately this is what you get by selling to the highest bidder. The national trust should have been given the opportunity to purchase it.

How could anyone in their right mind want to desecrate this beautiful area? It would be killing the goose that lays the golden egg to despoil this place where so many visit for its very openness and freedom. As for access lane.....!

This development would not benefit local people. The access road would not cope with any additional traffic as it barely copes with the current volume in the summer months.

There is absolutely no need to develop green field sites in this aonb. There is inadequate infrastructure to support the proposals. There is no local or community (immediate or wider) support for any of the proposals. This is one of the last bastions of unspoilt coastline; to develop it is unnecessary, unwanted, wholly at odds with the wider area and would be a travesty.

The south west is fast becoming swallowed by oversized aggressive construction, it is of great concern when it happens in such epically beautiful and precious land such as this, the south wests jewel is it's landscape it what brings people together and brings people here in the first place! As a country and country we should be fighting with all we have to preserve wildlife and our natural sourroundins, it is our duty to protect the land against this sort f development, it is completely unsustainable, unjustified and irresponsible, we MUST protect the countryside from those who see fit to destroy it, there are other sites and locations that would cause far less of an impact, please stand up for the world, not money, because if we could turn the air into gold we would all suffocate in a rich mans world.

Just no need. Go to another beach if you require entertaining etc. The beauty of Bantham is it's unspoilt nature. Leave it alone.
