People live rurally for the space, peace, and quiet not to be next door to a business. Thankfully it isn't a giant pot farm which is what happened next to my 90 acres.

I come to Taos and to the Rio Grand area for the view and isolation. Please don't ruin this area, there is so little left.

This is not a commercial area. An "outdoor hotel" is NOT consistent with the current land use. Find a better place. Too risky (fire, sewage, water). Not appropriate.

What is being done is a crime. Tax paying citizens have spent millions of taxes dollars to build homes in a residential area only to have elected “officials” overturn established regulations in the interest of tourism. Taos is surrounded on ALL sides by public lands with free and safe camping areas. I don’t want people camping in my back yard, but even if I DID want that, it would be illegal because it is zoned residential. If this petition fails to produce results we might need to contact a class action law office to file suit against the county

This guy and his wife have zero experience in the glam camp business. Zero. It will fail if they are not stopped from the appeal. But why should everyone suffer while Desert "Disaster" fails? And I am betting it will be a costly clean up afterward. Why will it fail? The wind -- 60 mph gusts. Oh and let's not forget the Black Widow spiders, scorpions, rattle snakes, and other charming inhabitants of the land that don't care who the hell they are. Plus why on earth would anyone create a business in a place where no one wants you? I would never want to go against an entire community of people. I would never want to destroy natural habitat and other people's property values.

I think the natural world at Ranchos De Taos where my sister lives will be just devastated if Jody Wodrich starts up his Desert Flower Camping Resort. There are many species that live in that desert. Cayotes, big horn rams, rabbits, snakes, lizards, birds of every kind & more. All these animals and people are living in a quiet harmony. A glam camp means cars, noise, fires (Oh God) and destruction of habitat. It will essentially destroy the beautiful feeling of that land. It will absolutely devastate property values too. All the residents will absolutely be harmed by this business. Jody and Xochitl Wodrich, and I know you will read this, if you do this, you will regret it because the people that already are part of the community do not want you there. It seems to me that you could find a better place for your "idea".

The visual impact, particularly at night, is out of character with the current existing residences. Traffic increase associated with this project would negatively affect the quality of life for all those living in the area.

Why would a “glamping” campground be created where there is no shade or water? Why would it even be approved at that location?

Please no. We as home owners have invested our life’s work in this area and I believe that it is wrong to ask us land and home owners to share our private space with people that are only here for a very short time. It is obvious that the owner of this project is only thinking off the financial gain. there is room for more camping in the county. Let’s not put camp grounds in residential neighborhoods.

The large number of suggested campsites indicates that the developers have little concern with our water table or preserving the neighborhood as it exists now. The folks that live out here should have their opinions heard before moving forward with this ridiculous proposal.

I do not believe a resort of this nature is good for residents. There are many issues water, traffic, length of stays weight of these types of vehicles and the current road infrastructure and types of issues that arise with many long term RV rental spaces.

I am concerned about this proposal and would prefer our neighborhood to remain residential.
