I agree these charges are way to high especially if you live in the country. I have a 200 acre solar farm next to me and I pay almost 200 a month for delivery for 80 in usage and that's including the yard light I pay for.

This is absolutely unjustified theft by the hydro company and the government. Not sure what can be done with this as the government of Canada and Ontario are definitely not for the people.

The Distribution Line Logic is Insane I live on the city line that divides Dorchester and London. I receive Hydro fro the same line that my neighbor who lives 1/2 KM further out. I'm classified as Low Density - this month my distribution charge is $158 my bill this month is over $400. I called Hydro and they say my usage is average - this is insane I will never be able to retire or will be forced to move as this is approaching the cost of a mortgage.

We just got our hydro bill not too long ago and our actual usage was around $100 and our bill total was $224.00 !!!

The delivery charge is higher than my hydro use. Everyone tells you to use energy efficient lights, ect. and use less hydro to save money, but if hydro one keeps raising the delivery charge then we will never get ahead.
They have used this trick so they can sell hydro to the U.S. for a reasonable rate and keep their profit margin.
We are all to blame for this, We let it happen.!!!!!

as a single mother,, am not sure how you expect me to pay a 400 dollar bill, when 204 of it is delivery, as your nuts,, well I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, because there is a merry anything in my home can't afford it,
