I was burgled at the beginning of this year. I would hazard a guess that the first thing the police would have done would be to speak to the workers in and around my place!! Zilch was done!! I have never in 14 years of being in Tamarin seen a patrol car let alone a policeman's presence on the streets!!

The police seriously need to step up their game. This is not a joke peoples lives are in danger and if these guys see tthat the police won't really do anything, this is going to get really bad, fast.

Law in Mauritius should be unforced as situations is causing a lot of harm to the nation as well as a safe destination for holidays especially when tourists is a pillar in the source of income. If this continues, there will be a big disaster for Mauritius
