Revisit the requirements of the CPL program

It is just one more unnecessary thing to do on top of all the other work related things I do every day but don’t have time for!!! I work in a school and I don’t see teachers being asked to do the extra on top of our already busy day. I am also a mother and my time at home is with my family not to do unnecessary paperwork to please people who sit behind a desk!!

The college does absolutely nothing to make me more of a professional. I already make sure that I keep myself updated in the field by researching topics on my own and going to workshops. I am all about enrichment and continuous learning. Why don’t we worry about how much this field is neglecting to make sure that we are payed at the level we should be. We are educators. We deserve more respect. Parents don’t respect me anymore because I belong to the college or do a cpl. Why are they adding more work to my already busy job. The job I love so much.

We are professional, CPL is added stress and paperwork that is not nessassery.

I am professional. I need resources to connect with my peers to enhance our children Skills and development!

Hello! We are professional already ! We do enough paperwork in our job! We get the job done! We need ECE networking! ..By having networks, working groups would allow ECE workers to share ideas and experiences in a much shorter time and make the learning experience much more beneficial...let’s unite as a community!... I'm in to improve myself but it's too much work added to what RECES ARE doing

Too much paper work! Give ECE’s Professional Development days where presenters come to daycares and provide new material/refresher workshops. That’s how you can help us Not by overloading us with more work with the little time we have to ourselves!

Well, every year paid 150 is a waste also. Cause they does not help us at all. Unlike the union group protect people who paid. Why should we continue pay them then?

After work we have so many things in our life need to be done and enjoy, such as housework, take care of children, personal life.... etc. Please enough work, we do not want that extra work especially when we supposed to enjoy our weekend with family and children! If want to be professional should better provide our more free workshops instead of make us to do all the work CLP program please!

Stop the cpl

I stepped down from childcare for all these reasons and more, and started working a Nanny company. I work M-F. 9 hr shifts. Paid 20/hr plus paid sick days and 3 weeks vacay and NO paper work involved or criteria and all that other stuff. AND I only care for 2 kids! I’m going to do this while I go to school and get a degree and be something else. I don’t get paid enough to be a RECE AND ALLL THE EXTRA STUFF THEY MAKE US DO! #STOPTHECPL #RECOGNIZERECES

We pay a high fee and each year the demands increase.
