Revisit the requirements of the CPL program

Working as a full time ECE has paid my full attention, energy and time.。, I really like CPL program，but when I could not arrange the time between family and work , it makes me stressful and frustrated

The continuously increasing expectation and fee on the ECE sector is outrageous considering it has not been paired with fair or even living wage. I completely support this field to highly qualified and educated, but without fair work or compensation it leaves many of its professionals struggling. This is another example of the gender wage gap in Canada. #professioanlpayforprofessionalwork #genderpaygap #decentwork

I have young children there is not enough time in the day to do extra work. I am doing workshops that's pertain to my field and I think that should be enough. We do assessment on a daily basis where is the extra time coming from. I am exhaust ed at the end of my day. I think this CPL should be revisited .

I agree, the expectation is too much and we are already busy enough as it is.

I agree!!! We are really overload with work and this is adding extra stress on us. I do not mind if we have to attend extra workshops regarding our profession! We work in the classroom as ECE ,as a teacher, as a support staff etc we are already over loaded with our job and this is just extra stress on us.

I am a passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator and dedicated lifelong learner. That being said, RECEs are being held to an extensive CPL process standard that goes well beyond what other comparable professions are expected to do to uphold their own professional standing. The CPL process needs to be simplified and streamlined.
