Cancel the CPL, the CPL is an added stress in an already stressful world. Our job can be very demanding and we do not earn anything close to what we deserve.

Teachers have AQ Courses and if they take them, their pay goes up. They do not neec to take any if they do not want to.
Why are we being forced to do something that gets us nothing?

With all the extra work we have to do plus low wages and to have to pay $160 to the college is absurd! Teachers don’t even have to what we do and they get paid so much more. Our PD should be our own personal goals and those goals are constantly changing. Could anyone from the college work in a classroom now and do what is being asked at such a low wage?

You as the college should be providing us with CPL,not stressing us with more demands and the expectations that we must pay out of pocket to uphold.
As soon as the CPL was introduced all fee PD became paid even the ones from our community hub (ECCDC) started charging. These places are now making more money off of us knowing that it is a requirement in order to keep our membership and therefore jobs.

CPL can be a great tool for ECEs who take the first step in the field to reflect their practices . For me, I have been doing CPL for several years while pursuing professional developments where I need to grow. For me, CPL become ordinary things not reflective of my practice.

CPL is too stressful, no time for all the paperwork. I get anxiety whenever I receive an email from the college about my CPL.

Stop the CPL! It is added stress to an already stressful profession. The college should help us be recognized as a profession without the added stress!

I totally agree that the college isn't acknowledging the highest of efforts for us as educators showing up to our jobs since the pandemic started. Some of us had a choice depending on who we worked for, to accept whether we would work or not. Many of us went to work beyond the school board and there was nothing from the college of support but a hold of renewing our membership till the next year
No time to spend on doing CPL. Cause more stress.
