Revisit the requirements of the CPL program

Stop the CPLC and high membership fee!

Too expensive and way too much work to add to our stress jobs

I appreciate the fact that we have to pay a membership fee to belong and I’m very proud to belong. I have disagreed with the CPL from the beginning I tried doing it it’s confusing time consuming And not effective in my opinion have us share how we have stayed current in the field over the last year when we renew our membership and we can state examples etc. references and that’s it… let us take the lead on what different professional activities we want to learn about and take part in to stay current in the field. We are adults and professionals and all of us have different time constraints in her life. Let us take the lead on our professionalism please.. Thank you for listening I really appreciate it

It takes so much time to complete all the expectations, paperwork!!! I feel that this has become very stressful!!! As well, our renewal fee has increased and I find it difficult as I spend endless amounts of funds for most of the activities, materials for the class.

CPL requirements are a complete joke and waste of time. No one should have to work for free, life is too expensive for that.

I do not have the time or the money to put out on CPL. My board provides the professional development that I need to work and therefore should not have to put out any more money or time.

I enjoy having professional development experiences, but they should be provided to us. For no additional fee. If it is a requirement, and I already pay an annual fee to hold my RECE status, than the college should be creating learning opportunities for us. Webinars, book clubs, workshops, etc. The CPL is a lot. It is demanding time that we don't have to give because we already don't get planning time for our jobs. We deserve to be present members of our families; not spending what little time is left in the day working on our CPL.

No more CPL !!!

With all we have to deal with in a daily basis right now dealing with Covid and cleaning no one has time for extra paperwork

Make it like the college of teachers. Our professional development equals a raise. These two fields are similar and should have similar expectations.

Thank you so.much for taking this initiative to stop this cpl petition..I am so stressed out because of this ... we already have more than enough to cover in this Littles wages of pay .. and this cpl paperwork is an added expense and anxiety to save our jobs :((

Respect our professionalism enough to not take our money for something which does not benefit us in any way, shape or form! As ECE’s, we always go above and beyond our call of duty, trust us enough to do our jobs, without babysitting us. Our wages are so low for the work we do, and having to pay for a yearly membership is not in recognition of our hard work and dedication to the field!

I’ve got enough on my plate as an rece than to worry about being audited for a CPL. I do enough professional development through my place of employment!!! It needs to go

ECEs be heard

Everyone pays annually for registration,police clearance, TB skin test, doctors notes indicating they have their shots, cpr and first aid these fees accumulated are a burden for Registered Early Childhood Educators.We also have no time during work to or after leaving our job we leave the daycare late at evenings and arrived home at night. There needs to be a change CPL isn't necessary as we attend the workshops and those alone take time and are hard to make time for so the CPL is unnecessary.

CPL program.. It’s so stressful! And member free is high too

This is too much I do professional workshops but I am a mom, wife, volunteer and a co-worker. I am tired after bedtime and don't want to do paperwork.

Absolutely ridiculous requirements for an underpaid and under appreciated career.
