People don’t have time for this. Many just are making it up just so something is on paper. It is useless and a waste of resources. No other profession requires this. Why do people in this profession get taken advantage of and have no one fighting for their value that they deserve.

I don't agree with fees going up. It's already expensive as it is.
I love to further my knowledge but not through the clp. I am not against bettering myself but I am against the crazy expectations the college is setting on us who have families to go home to after a crazy shift for hardly any pay.

We have enough work at our jobs and we are constantly working on professional development to better ourselves in our careers. We don’t need to spend hours of our limited personal time trying to figure out how to complete the CLP.

We are the change we want to see in the world!!!!!!
That is proof enough. We are the backbone and the foundation of our youth.
We are trusted by parents/guardians, coworkers, teachers, principals, the medical partners plus, plus. Is that not proof enough of our daily commitment to all our children. We are underpaid, undervalued, unrecognized and over worked but we still stay dedicated!!! We wholeheartedly believe in US and the children we have dedicated are life too. Our day is not done @ 3pm, 4, ,5, or 6 pm or on a Friday before the weekend. We take our work home...planning, thinking about the children and what else we can do for them and then bring those plans and thoughts and put it all in place for when we return to the children on Monday....CPL is not necessary plain n simple. How about listening to our voices because this is about us. Im pretty sure we didnt agree to a CPL!! I am confident that ECEs have shown their growth in learning daily in many ways professionally at their workplaces. We are Enough!
Thank you

I just printed 756 pages for my CPL due to pics and activities being on my phone for so long..I had to use my own printer went through at least 6 cartridges because the school only allows us to print on one computer so everyone is fighting for it...no there is not time in the day. I find that it’s rediculous that they have one job yet I now have to apply 2-3 months in advance to get it on time what are they doing?? Why do long? Then they up the price to almost the same as teachers pay for theirs yet we are in the poverty level of pay. We do these things everyday in class it’s our jobs now we have to prove it and document it on top of documentation for the kids??? It’s not right at all.

It’s good that we are constantly updating but having to do CPL to this extent is not helping with the stress we deal with on a daily.

This CPL and membership fees are nonsense as the college does absolutely nothing to support or defend our industry!! Such a money grab and not quite sure what the college does for us ECE's

I don't understand why our membership fees are so high when all we get is extra work instead of extra support.

It is indeed stressful. Especially with everything going on and even without covid, it is very time consuming and stressful. In my opinion, instead of working on CPL, I rather do a short monthly summary of things that are working and things that arent working in the workplace (within the company) and not extra work out of the job. It is time consuming to do EXTRA work out of those things and I see no benefit from the CPL.

It is mandatory for us to attend at least two Professional learning workshops yearly. Please do not place the added stress of the CPL on our already heavy burdened shoulders.
