My daughter is in the field and wished she had gone on to Univ. But finances weren't there. But she is doing what she loves and gets no where near the benefits of an actual teacher but she does twice the work with no holidays or big paychecks or benefits. Give these guys and gals the recognition they deserve!

After working very hard with children we have to think about working on CPL and pay money from our pocket even though we are under paid.

CPL adds more stress to our lives. We had been taken workshops and courses as they are part of our job anyway.

I think this format could be way more simple and that we have ideas to share.

Please stop this stupid CPL program. This is totally unnecessary! We already work hard each every day and end of the I want to spend time with my family not doing this stupid paper work.

The fee is more than a teacher and they actually don't do anything for us...including making us look professional.

I feel that PD is important but the college should look into adding something to their portal where we add professional development certificates and maybe a brief description of what we learned or how we intend to implement into our programs. The paperwork it's just way to much on our already busy demanding career.

I find it hard to balance a home with three children all with needs, working full time in the school board and doing the CPL on top of all normal adulting things that have to be done (laundry, cooking, grocery shopping etc). I have to do PD at school for my job and that should be enough. Teachers do not have to do this amount of work and they get paid double if not triple what a RECE does. How is this remotely fair? Are you going to fight for us to make a teachers wage too with all this extra education we are getting whether we are in the school board or a daycare? Don't get me wrong I'm fine with paying the fee to show I'm in good standing as many professions do but we do pay very high fees for the little amount we make and are recognized for. I do believe in keeping informed and learning new things but not for it to be forced upon us in order to keep our jobs. I have enough training I have to do in staying with the school board, I do not need more

I agree I have a special need child at home ,who needs twenty four care after a long day at work I don't have time to do all those paperwork work that they're asking us to do.

The CPL portfolio piece is an insult to our profession. Hours of accountability; cont Ed., upgrade courses and workshops are sufficient. We are already one of the highest burnout professions.

I agree that this CPL is an added stress with my job, family and at present my health.

I am in agreement with the high demand and expectations from the college and little or no support!

Life is already stressful especially with Covid......I get we are raising the bar but for goodness sake it's too much unnecessary information.
