Change can only make things better in a field where we are relayed on as essential but not treated as such

The CPL is a huge stress and so much paper work. I attended workshops after work and even weekends. Now we have to learn how to manage online learning with constant changes in platforms we use. We need to support student in our care . This requires a lot of energy and thoughtful planning. Cpl does not help me be a better Educator.

I do not mind paying to belong to a professional body. I object to having do on going learning every 2 years. How about a yearly question and answer instead. I have NO enthusiasm left at the end of the day for CPL. THANK YOU FOR THIS.

It’s a lot to pay for employees who make such low pay. First you should help bring our workers out of poverty by increasing pay and benefits and then we would gladly pay your fees. Also if wages were better we would only have to work one job to make ends meet and then all this extra paperwork would seem so overwhelming.

CPL is not helping the ECEs, instead giving us stress. College should think alternate ways of ensuring professional development. Such as— Provide grants to attend in workshops.

We all have being learning new programs on google to plan and deliver education on line so that should be counted as professional development atomatically.

CPL adds more stress to our lives. We had been taken workshops and courses as they are part of our job anyway.

In the early childhood career, we a too busy preparing for activities and searching resources to motivate, provoke thinking and create a stimulating activities. Constantly creating hands on games and activities. This career is built in to think beyond the box and spending a lot of our own time and money to create a well productive activities. Working on a school board , our PAday is set up for learning and team meeting sharing ideas and problem solving. Therefore, I feel for college to us more from us is unfair. Maybe they should ask for a job evaluation copy done by our principal.
