Stop the councils removal of tributes on Ted’s bench

if Anything needs removing it’s the gypsies!! Leave this bench and memorial alone!

This is beautiful and not at all something we should even be petitioning for

The items on the bench are hardly taking up any room at all. Nothing would be said if someone was sat there with their bags on the bench

What is wrong to memorise their baby son by decorating the bench which was donated by the baby’s family in memory of their baby?! How cruel can human being be!

This is the most insensitive thing I have read My son was born at the same hospital as little ted and I met his parents who are the kindest most generous people and offered me comfort and support when I needed it most and I hope that the council realise this is the help and support that they need now

Please understand the loss our family have experienced and allow us to pay tribute to our beautiful Ted Ellard.

Unbelievable how insensitive this council are.

If the council thought it was so important to have seating here for the elderly why did they not pay for a bench to go here.

Have a think about what your doing to the family of the poor child. Bloody idiots

This family deserve to chance to remember their son and will fully appreciate the support from others. Shame on those who have complained and I hope that heaven forbid they should ever lose a loved one, they will be given the chance to mourn and remember. Its a memorial bench so please leave it to live to its namesake.

It breaks my heart that people have complained about this, the poor family have suffered enough !!!

We are shocked and upset that such a letter was ever sent in the first place. It's just so heartless and upsetting! What a lovely place we all have to visit and remember our beautiful Ted, we cannot let the council take this away. xx

Save teds memorial bench it’s beautiful

Keep the bench where it is please.

Teds Bench is a memorial to a special little man, I’ve visited several times and even with the special items left there is always room to sit, it’s not unsafe at all. It should be allowed, the family are born and bred in Whitnash. To stop these gestures for a grieving family is a disgrace!! We will take this to the media if needed! There will be far more people complaining about removing it that the number of complaints you have received!

This is just wrong, my daughter was in itu just across from ted when he was born. He was a true frighter and his parent should be allowed to put what ever they like on his bench

Keep the bench as a memorial bench as it was intended. No need to remove anything inoffensive as it gifts and memories for a little baby boy ..
