Stop the councils removal of tributes on Ted’s bench

Ted’s bench is now part of our community. I love to regularly visit it to see what might be new. It brings peace to all those whitnash residence who not only know the Ellards but also to those who have also lost children themselves. The bench is well cared for and maintained and is a beautiful peaceful place to be. Young residence enjoy seeing what changes and to see beautiful Teds face on his precious balloons.

Surely anybody who visits the bench would be understanding of the tributes and the legacy behind the bench. Shame on Whitnash council and love and support to Ted's family x

Teds bench is a lovely place for people to sit and remember , I can see no reason for anything to be removed as it,s a place of peace

How can this be hurting anyone ,other than the grieving family ,trying to come to terms with the loss of a gorgeous little boy .Put yourself in their shoes .How would you feel if the only bit of comfort in your grief was taken away from you .

It always looks lovely and the family keep it neat and tidy. Leave it alone xxx

It’s really lovely to see the bench everyday the balloons and bright colours of flowers only add to the beauty of it and it’s apauling anyone should feel upset about this lovely last gestures family and friends are able to do in remembering and honouring little ted shame on them people and u of u are participating in taking this away from the family and community it’s nice things like this that help a community come together as it should be!!!!

Whitnash town council should be ashamed

A outrageous idea, what do the Council hope to achieve by this. Please rethink, this will only cause hurt when it should bring comfort.

It’s shocking that anyone would feel the need to complain about flowers, balloons etc being left on a child’s memorial bench. Ted has brought the community together and his family are going through enough heartache without this being added to it!

Disgraceful... can’t believe what I’m reading! Some people really have no heart and no life to be able to even touch on this matter!

Shocked and dismayed at this awful request. Could people be any more insensitive? Super Ted has brought a community together. Not only for witnash but within all the preemie baby community.

This is just upsetting. How someone could be so cruel as to complain about gifts left in our beautiful teds memory, I don’t know. Ted made may people smile everyday, he was a superhero and an inspiration.

Leave it alone what is there is a memory of someone that’s special to people what’s the problems
