Stop the councils removal of tributes on Ted’s bench

How can parents grief be so offensive to people? The complaints should think about how they would feel if the bench was for their child.

Disgraceful request by whitnash council

This decision is appalling & needs revoking. What harm is being done here? I’m a disabled person & have absolutely no problem with the family & wider community leaving flowers etc on Ted’s bench, so please do not use us as an excuse. Ted’s parents & family have lost an amazing little boy. Whitnash has lost its Superted. So please have some humanity & let them continue to celebrate the life of little Ted. It’s bringing the community together

Ted’s bench and the tributes left truly symbolise the community spirit that whitnash has. The show of support for a grieving family, showing them that they are not alone, is something to be proud of, not something to remove.

This is unacceptable as if Natalie and her lovely family haven’t been through enough. The balloons and flowers are not hurting anyone and there is still plenty of room to sit down. We have put balloons and flowers on littles Teds bench and will carry on doing so. My children love looking out for Teds bench when we go past and have enjoyed helping putting flowers on a long with many other children.

Please keep the flowers etc going , In the sad world we live in let the joy of that little boys smiling brave face beaming out warm people. It gives comfort to his family and is doing no harm

Shocking!! Leave super teds bench alone. It's by the grace of god so many have us have never suffered like this poor family. To the complainers where is your love, compassion and community support . It's a bench with lovely things on.please find something worthwhile to complain about.

I see this every day and it warms my heart to know the family want to remember their little boy this way. It’s a lovely place to have it.

Ted’s bench is a place for everyone to go to remember this wonderful little boy, I can’t believe anyone would think that his bench is anything but beautiful as a perfect place for the community to show their love for him and their support for his family. X

The people who have complained officially have a boring life to complain about little things that matter to baby Ted which are so lovely to see
