Stop the concrete batch plant

Please deny request; because; the planned plant is too close to residential communities and will contaminate water that would run through our communities. The company has proven in the past; that they do not maintain facilities in accordance with permits and have done unauthorized discharges. They can't be trusted to do the right thing; so, you shouldn't approve their request.

Against approving the concrete plant.

I strongly oppose the construction of any concrete plant on the proposed site. While not an activist environmentalist, it is obvious to me that any run-off would be devastating to Berry Creek, and my extension, the San Gabriel river. There are other locations that are more suitable.

Please do not give Five Star Concrete a storm water permit. Having worked in the environmental field as a chemist and as a QC Officer on numerous sites including Superfund sites I fear for both our local environment and for the health of those living in the vicinity of this proposed plant.

Not safe where it will be located. Serious health risks to the community surrounding it.

Don't need more traffic on Ronald Reagan or more concrete plants in and around our neighborhoods. Please deny the permit.

Eight plants are enough. You are impeding on a large at risk population. You can’t guarantee that your plant won’t harm us, so you shouldn’t have the right to build so close to us. Older people matter, sounds l

The truck traffic on Ronald Reagan and access to 195 is already dangerous and will be more so if this plant is approved. In addition, the health of the senior citizens residing in Sun City would be severely compromised. Please deny their permit.

I don't want to see suspended solids, mercury, and higher pH levels flowing into Berry Creek Park, or ANY other waterway.

Ronald W. Reagan has enough heavy truck usage every day and more of these trucks would be detrimental to the nearby residents who also use this road as well as Rattlesnake and I95.

This project affects all the residents of Sun City and needs to be stopped.

Once the plant is built, there will be no government agency that will stop violations. TCEQ has proven over the years to be worthless. The solution is to NOT build the plant.

I have already submitted my comments to everyone in charge of this issue.

There are too many giant trucks on Ronald Reagan already, we don’t need more! Dust is making me cough all the time!

We do not want another concrete plant. The track record of this company in regards to discharge violations is concerning, especially since Berry Creek runs through several neighborhoods. Please don’t approve the permit!

I am concerned with this project because of proximity to homes and dust and decreasing property values. We’re already dealing with the blasting issues but I am particularly against this plant due to the amount of water needed. Our water is s precious commodity and we keep building apartments and homes and yet limits to water use at residential sites. We don’t need this concrete plant using massive amounts of our water and then contamination could be an issue!
