Stop the concrete batch plant

We live in the far northwest corner of Sun City and it would impact our neighborhood greatly. Berry Creek flows behind the homes across the street from us.

I believe this facility would be detrimental to our community due to noise, air quality and increased traffic of large vehicles in the area.

Years ago there was a lawsuit in Midlothian Texas called the Downwinders. We may not have a down wind however.

Stop this threat to overall health of the community! Texas does not need this type of business so close to homes! What are you all thinking? Or maybe you are not thinking or care?

Georgetown Ordinance Section 11.04 (Stormwater Management System Requirements) should be the basis of denying Five Star a stormwater permit. Five Star’s stormwater treatment system is not designed to mitigate all the pollutants found at concrete batch plants. It concerns me as to what has happened with their repeated violations in Hutto and Uhland.

Quality of life in Sun City will be negatively impacted and water pollution is a big concern

The plant would cause environment issues for some neighbors with respiratory issues. Also, the amount of trucks would be a traffic hazard to an already busy thoroughfare. Sun City was built as a pleasant, peaceful and beautiful place to live.

Deny stormwater permit

There are too many concrete plants in Williamson County now. When you drive down Ronald Reagan ti Cedar Park there are at least 3 or more plants just NW of 3405 and Ronald Reagan. We absolutely do not need more noise, traffic, pollution.

I think it is a terrible shame that the concrete company can pollute the air and water of those of us who have chosen to live in Sun City and the entire Georgetown area

I keep thinking this whole thing is a joke but unfortunately it isn’t. It must be stopped,

No way do I want this concrete plant where it is planned to be built.

Deny storm water permit to Five Star Concrete

We don't need more pollution to once a beautiful area.

Does any local politician care about the ecosystem being able to support the aquifer??? The air quality for the neighboring residents???

Enough is enough!

As a resident of Sun City TX, I urge the City of Georgetown to not issue a stormwater permit for Five Star Concrete Inc. to discharge stormwater or any other waste water product into Berry Creek. This is a fresh water stream passing through our residential neighborhoods and should not be contaminated by commercial entities.

As a Sun City Texas resident, I oppose the City of Georgetown issuing a stormwater permit for Five Start Concrete to discharge stormwater into Berry Creek. It is important that this water not be polluted through commercial impact.

I strongly oppose allowing this plant so close to residential areas. The water, air, light and noise pollution is unacceptable.
