Another concrete batch plant? A history of environmental violations? Follow the money and you’ll see how/why they can get a permit for this facility. This has to stop before people get seriously ill and die.

P & Z Members,
Do you really think we need another Concrete company operating in Williamson county, nest door to a retirement community? It is almost beyond comprehension that there is even a discussion going around on this proposal. When does the P & Z Committee decide to stand up for the citizens of the city & county. Yeah, I know there are a lot of strings attached to this situation but let's get real about running over the citizens of the city and county. The next thing we'll probably be hearing is that you have approved right of way through the middle of SunCity to connect the north and south stretches of I 35 so the rock haulers will have a short cut to their dump sites. But that probably sounds too logical for approval!!!

So much for living in a nice quiet retirement community. As if the huge rock quarries and their trucks on hwy 195 aren’t bad enough, now people have to contend with a cement plant, their trucks, and the health issues this will bring? Incredible. Can’t they find an area further out in no-man’s land rather than right at people’s back doors? I’m imagining all the for sale signs going up already in Sun City. Kind of glad now that I’ve held off from buying there.
