The word common is somthing that is occuring or done often. With this definition, it would mean that all kids think or thought process is done prevalently. This misnomer shows the narrow-mindedness of the ones who are 'in power'. Tell me; what two person think so close or so in common that they have to be 'labeled' as the same. Let me answer. No one. We all think, learn, feel and understand in different ways that makes us so uncommon that contradicts the individuals who want our kids to all be a common factor. This common factor is to think how they want to teach our children not how are children think uncommon from one another. With this brief synopsis, I am total against such a 'molding' from anyone who wants to 'form' my child into a 'common' farce.

I have been teaching for 18 years and I believe common core is the worst thing ever we can to our children. Common core is stressing out teachers causing many great teachers to leave the field. We have got to get rid of Common Core before if
