There will be no eels left in our rivers or lake which help to make up part of the eco system.You just have to look around Japans water to see why they need to keep on importing everything as they have decimated their own fishing waters.

Our eels are endangered, so it's beyond belief that we are harvesting the elvers in record numbers and even exporting them. Stop the export as a first step.
