As we are banned from taking eels which is a great thing in view of the current eel population I am absolutely horrified to see the commercial export of baby eels is still legal.

When you think about how far they have travelled and what they have already gone through. Leave them alone!

Very true, hardly ever see an eel these days. Growing up in the midlands & fishing the Welsh Boarder streams with my father, we regularly saw eels. I fish for them in the '60's/'70's , when we regularly caught good numbers
