it's essential and there isn't another close by for those we don't drive and another short polluting drive fire the rest of us.

This is a much needed service and where do we go if this closes, some people haven’t got cars to travel to god-knows where this is a disgrace. How can charity shops survive and not a very important business which is essential

This is a vibrant and necessary part of the Rhiwbina community with well respected staff who have served the village well over many years. I hope the powers that be will reconsider.

This is an awful mistake. Keep it open, this pharmacy is used by all of the people I care for.

People need this pharmacy otherwise they have to travel much further and when you are elderly it’s not viable

Every village needs a pharmacy, this is crazy.

I have used this pharmacy regularly for the 14 years I’ve lived in Rhiwbina. I use it for repeat prescriptions and toiletries, and have used it for all manner of medicines and advice over the years of having young children. We have built up long term relationships with the staff, eg Mari. But my real concern is the elderly residents who use the pharmacy, many who don’t drive. The next nearest pharmacy is nearly a mile away on Heol Llanishen Fach, or at least a mile the other way at Birchgrove surgery. Rhiwbina needs a pharmacy in it’s village. If the rent on the shop was too high and it wasn’t making enough profit, maybe Lloyds could consider renting one of the smaller units, recently vacated by the butchers or the Olive Branch cafe? I expect most residents would rather have a small pharmacy than no pharmacy at all.

It is needed, many elderly rely on it
