Think the council should be looking at the crime rates rising in this town rather than picking on small business owners that do a damn sight more for the community than they have done. They do a lot for charity and this is how the council repay them?? Wake up!!!

A friendly bar run by local people for local people and along the way the bar has raised thousands of pounds for deserving charities. Last year the bar owners took thousands of pounds worth of toys to a local hospital and handed them over to disbelieving nurses of the children's ward. I've never seen or heard of any trouble associated with the bar. This would be a disgraceful decision if this notice was upheld.

The lads have done such a good job at creating the perfect atmosphere for Atherstone to have a hot spot for a night out. Atherstone is losing its identity and serving notice on Barcode is creating further isolation of the town. Give people something they actually want rather than shutting everything in the town to develop flats. People living here or about to live here need an infrastructure and some entertainment. Currently that is slowly being killed off. Keep up the good work Sean and the team, keep on making Atherstone good again!!!
