Clayton County Health Department has strived to serve other surrounding counties throughout the state of Georgia as well as other States. We work hard and try to give the up most and best service to each individual that enters our doors. Each individual that works for CCBOH puts all their energy into applying the knowledge, strength and effort into what is done. The years of experiment, titles we earned, the timely hours in reaching out and going out to the community, schools, centers, should be acknowledge and not dismissed. Remember these thoughts and help Clayton County Health Department stay alive and running as what we are CCBOH.

As the gentrification of Atlanta ensues, Clayton is growing and public health services are needed. Not only to simply improve quality of life in our county but to also reduce crime and unemployment in our county/ country. Those resources in place also promote livability in Clayton and draws in business and REVENUE. Change this course of reducing us to a rural community when we are a heartbeat..No..A PART OF one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. I work in Atlanta. I would love to find an equivalent job near my home. :( Hopefully the day is coming that we will rest assured that healthcare is available and affordable within ALL communities in America. I choose to start where I'm at. I have a good job and healthcare but it's about all of us.

As a Clayton County citizen I think it would be horrendous to merge us with 12 other health department. Why can't we merge with closer county like Fulton and DeKalb counties at least or money would be kept closer to home.
