I can understand battery blowers in the summer months when things are mostly dry and not much in the way of debris. But to think battery blowers will keep valuable properties neat and clean in spring and fall months is completely ridiculous.

How do you expect your landscaper to clean the yards? Will the city clean it? Who will pay the extra expense our landscapers will charge? You think battery pack blowers are any safer?

It is a discrimination if a group or class can use blowers ie dpw and homeowners or landscapers are banned from using blowers !!!!!

This is an unfair proposed ban. Anyone supporting this been has no idea what the side affect will be. The battery powered equipment is way far from matching the power of gas powered equipment. until the technology improves this amendment to the law should be set to the side. You would be creating a huge increase to the cost of hiring a landscaper as well as creating a hardship which would probably become a lawsuit.
