You guys are slowing down production, a no costing everybody money.

1. Current electric blowers are at this time inadequate to perform the job. 2. Cost to homeowner's to maintain their property will greatly increase if only raking is allowed 3. Due to the increase in cost property might not be as well maintained 4. Has anyone looked at how this might impact drainage and storm drains? 5. Why is the law different for City owned property and country clubs? 5. Does the proposed law apply to homeowners or only landscape professionals?

When a battery powered blower can do the same job, I see it will be time to make the change, but they can’t! I guess we will all be relegated to using rakes? Let’s use some common sense!

This law does not make any sense . Leaf blowers help the city look clean. Law it’s ridiculous.

I have several clients in Rye and will not be able to perform our jobs. Also technology is no there for bigger pieces of equipment.

Many reasons to not support this ban but two highlights for me. 1. Additional financial burden to landscapers by making them register and by making their equipment unusable are too onerous and may not only raise costs to owners but also put lanscapers out of business. 2. If the City and City Council like this so much then make it also apply to the City. “Rules for thee but not for me” ???
