Stop the city of edmonton from using "new salt brine" on winter roads

I do not approve of the use of liquid road salt on Edmonton city roads

I would have to buy a new winter beater just so the city could save a few sheckles

Winters are already harsh enough, the're other cheaper and much friendlier then a product that rusts cars and essentially harms other things like sewer systems. Just make winter tires mandatory and be done with it

No Alberta rust bucket future. We spend a lot of money on our cars and trucks.

I have a older toyota truck that are known for rust issues. Im trying to keep it in good condition for as lomg as possible. This new brine will ruin all cars on the road

Against the use of salts on our roads, will diminish the value of our cars!

Kept the salt for the sidewalk

The current road traction services are adequate and given the surplus from last year, it remains affordable.

Using this salt brine will destroy our cars and drive the value down

Please reconsider the new salt brine.

Anyone who has seen a car from the east coast of Canada knows how hard it is on the vehicles there. The longevity of the vehicle is compromised and service costs skyrocket. This is not ok.

Last thing I need is a higher chance of winter rusting my car
