I do not approve of the use of liquid road salt on Edmonton city roads

Winters are already harsh enough, the're other cheaper and much friendlier then a product that rusts cars and essentially harms other things like sewer systems. Just make winter tires mandatory and be done with it

I have a older toyota truck that are known for rust issues. Im trying to keep it in good condition for as lomg as possible. This new brine will ruin all cars on the road

Anyone who has seen a car from the east coast of Canada knows how hard it is on the vehicles there. The longevity of the vehicle is compromised and service costs skyrocket. This is not ok.
