The lining up in playground is a crazy idea. Even the teachers were told that if it rains everyone still has to go outside and get wet..So children are going to be wet b4 they start school, change clothing and waste education time to get changed. Also end up being ill if they don't get changed. Yesterday morning it rained and they had to line up and then in afternoon we could collect from class because of bad weather. School hasn't told us parents they will adjust according to weather conditions or whether yesterday was a one off. Badly organised and how this helps their education is beyond me!

I have spoken to my daughter the things you are stopping she enjoys she doesn't mind the head teacher but her words he is changing to much.. they even have clapping regulations, there only allowed to clap twice... Its enough for the children to have a change of head, change of school name, change of uniform coming up, and now your changing everything they are comfortable with and the things they enjoy, school is suppose to be the best days of your life, learning but fun time to i.e art it's messy, music is loud, all our kids love these lessons... it's not right them being taken away and I'm only touching the edge of the issues being raised

The school is now chaos! Apparently they need to spend more time on maths an English, because they are the important subjects. if the staff cannot teach these subjects in the time they had then maybe it's the staff that need to change? Children should not miss out on swimming lessons it is a potential life saving skill.
And where is the head teacher? As parents we are entitled to know what is happening with the school but we're not being told anything!! As parents we should also be entilied to have an opinion and have a say on our children's education!

totally ridiculous changes. it takes more time away from learning as children need to get ready to leave earlier. the Friday early morning reading has gone and surely the school should support that not take it away. the teachers are probably getting less time in morning preparing for the day as they have to go out in the cold etc and meet the children poorly planned and not thought through as to how much time will actually be taken away from them for learning etc overall. a lot of hours education over the time this is done will be lost. I don't understand what benefit it does to do this? if anything it makes it worse

Getting worse by the day! Too many needless changes far to quickly. Ridiculous show of "power" from new executive head teacher. These changes are NOT beneficial to the children.
