Grew up with the CBC and signed petitions in support of them. Their election coverage (and pre-election Carney-appointment coverage) was so biased - they do not merit being funded by taxpayers. They played cover and painted PP as mini-Trump. They lost my support and I’m sure that of millions of other Canadians as well. Oh, Canada..

Rosemary’s biased right reporting is perfect for Fox news, but a huge detriment to the CBC brand. If they continue to keep her on the payroll they will continue to loose viewers. Nobody cares about her personal biases. Don’t tell us what to think, just report the facts. News is fully to blame for parroting everything politicians say without fact checking, and we all know what the result of that has been. Fire her. She is awful and unprofessional.

Ms Barton's questioning of PM Carney was way out of line, accusing him of lying. She also showed a lack of respect to PM Trudeau often referring to him by his first or last name, intentionally leaving off his PM title while using title when referring to Trump.
Her bias & lack of professionalism makes her unfit for her position.

CBC “reporting” is nothing more than editorials by people with their own ideological agendas. Bring back true journalism that is focused on Canadians issues as per the CBC’s mandate.
