Will harm owner-operator/small business. Being applied to honourable citizens. Encourages black market. Does not address the real issues. Management ridiculous tax burden on everyday tax payers. Orwellian.

How is this an Australian idea, is this even an Australian idea? If so, how have we managed to fall so far from living in reality to living in a deluded fantasy world where facts are irrelevant and huge sections of the community can be sold off to corporate interests? What the hell is wrong with you?

the most discriminatory thing to happen to the disabled in this country for a long time. Jus think how much the $4000 -$10000 per card could go to assist those unfortunate enough to be tarred by the Govt as Alcoholics, Gamblers and Drug abuser.

We the people of Bundaberg & Hervey Bay (Hinkler Electorate) said NO to the card. Keith Pitt ignored us, but we did not give up. We protested on a weekly basis, made submissions to the senate and contacted as many MP's as possible, In the end our voice was heard, not by our Federal LNP MP (Keith Pitt) but by the Greens, Labor and NXT senators. What we need are jobs with a living wage, and healthcare services for those suffering addiction. We need our rights protected, and our voice heard.

I oppose the ENDUE CARD under grounds of breaches to Human Rights, Consumer Protection as so many of these recipients of the ENDUE CARD are being discriminated against by retail and store owners and not having the freedom to attend a loved ones funeral in another town or state for that matter. Because monies are locked up in these ENDUE CARDS. Andrew Forrest stick to what you know best - Mining, not Human Services and Human Rights of these individual, yes individuals not a majority whom are entrenched in the cycle of poverty.

Last time we heard “Think of The Children” being used as a way to take away peoples’ rights and equality we saw the birth of the NT Intervention, all based on HUGE LIES!
So now 10 years later, we are hearing the cries of “Think of the Children” once again, but this time to take the rights of recipients on social security away, and to create further divide within our society.
Financial & Social Apartheid now being attempted by this gov’t and their friends for profits to private industry.
So let’s look at the reasons this time!
Children going to school hungry and therefore having to use breakfast club???
Assumption made that all kids in breakfast clubs come from “welfare” addicted families. In reality Breakfast clubs are most often used for social interaction and many working parents also use it as babysitting service as they drop their kids to school early to head to work.
The constant attacks that every “welfare addicted family” are dysfunctional, drug addicts, alcoholics, come from intergenerational welfare families?????
Yet every parent receives family tax payments or family assistance as set down under the law if they earn less than the cut-off, just a small detail they forget, then say oh but all those on “welfare” have a had a family member on “welfare” at some point in the last 15 yrs, well of course their parents received their family payments, just as they should have, their social security, then when they retire they claim old age pensions, if people are out of work at some time, then they receive social security that is our Australian Social Security Safety net. Then calling it intergeneration welfare to push a distorted truth to push an agenda of apartheid!
Equating our Social Security to being an addiction, rather than a right. The law states clearly Social Security is an inalienable right at Law, CommonWealth Act Social Security Acts 1999. For all citizens to protect our economy, keep our communities safer from less crime, (
