I ride the J2/J1 bus to Bethesda/NIH practically every day, giving me time to read and think instead of being stuck behind the wheel in soul sucking traffic. The J bus is packed no matter what time of the day one rides it, with standing room only!! It is incomprehensible that MoCo would eliminate any bus service.

Cutting bus routes is a terrible idea. We must continue to build public transportation, not cut it.

Please don’t cut back service on the J line busses! This is an essential East-west transport for those of us who live between areas covered by metro rail.

The J routes help me and thousands of other people get around the DMV area, they should absolutely not be cut!

We need more money for public transportation on metro busses not less. We are in a WAR against climate change. Public transportation is a huge weapon in fighting this war.

Wow! This would be so detrimental to so many people in the entire region. We need MORE public transportation NOT LESS!

Cutting bus services is short-term thinking that will hurt us all in the long term. To decrease traffic and greenhouse gas emissions, we MUST encourage people to use public transportation -- not make it harder! Would you really rather build more roads so people can sit in traffic, rather than funding the less-polluting buses? That's not right.

I thought there was going to be an overall study of bus routes in the DMV. Why cut now??

Please maintain the Q line service. It is infrequent as it is and should not be cut back at all!

I oppose cutting back on public transportation as contemplated in the WMATA FY 2021 budget. Residents of our county depend on such services to access their jobs, obtain services and shop, and visit family and friends. A cut to these routes would be detrimental to the lives of our neighbors and friends who depend on these routes.

While some cuts are necessary, the wholesale cuts proposed are much too much.

Service expansion precedes usage. If we want ridership, service should be EXPANDED, not cut. We need a review of routes and timing, a more efficient allocation of resources to encourage people to take more trips by bus. We do not need CUTS in service.
