A development of this size is not good for a 2 lane road - please consider moving to 8th or elsewhere where the street structure can handle this type building.

A project of this size is just so outsized for this already congested neighborhood. Bristol should go to a less-developed or more transitional neighborhood with this development plan.

The 12th Ave. South corridor is already severely congested. We do not need any further multi-family, retail, or mixed-used development in our neighborhood! Long time 12th Ave. South area residents with decent older homes have already invested in this area and should not shoulder the burden of revenue generation for the city in the name of "so-called" neighborhood improvement.
•Due to the stalled traffic and excessive street parking on 12th Ave., cars are diverted from 12th Ave. to our narrower residential streets. The increased residential traffic flow is hazardous for children, older adults, and pets. Emergency vehicle access to our homes is potentially limited because of the long lines of cars parked on both sides of the street.
•Increased utility usage during the spring and summer causes frequent water and electrical outages in our area. The overladen infrastructure simply doesn't adequately support businesses or huge duplexes on overcrowded lots.
•Constant drilling and filth from housing construction results in increased house and yard maintenance costs (outdoor painting, window and porch cleaning, stray construction debris disposal, etc.). Apartment complex construction would significantly multiply the noise level and the filth.

The information coming from the planning commission lists the number of proposed units at 164. While this number is better than the original 220 given at the community meeting in December, it is still too many in my opinion. This development will add to the congestion and eroding diversity in this community. Diversity in regard to ethnicity, generational and socio-economic. I urge residents to contact the planning commission as well as current Council members Sandra Moore and Burkley Allen and ask them to vote No for the rezoning.

This development is too big for the site, brings nothing to the neighborhood in terms of retail, restaurants, etc., and will add to the traffic congestion on 12th Avenue.

We are the "It" city now, but we are fast becoming something more akin to Atlanta. We need to slow it down a bit.

This feels like way too much. All we have is numbers and voices to protect our neighborhood. Do speak up! Otherwise we're a cash machine for developers who don't care about the neighborhood we're left with.

I want to limit the public on school property, most simply for safety.

Maybe this is just me, but unless the inaccurate information you speak of is made accurate by saying no apartments will be built, most people signing this petition will remain concerned.
