Our community has long been associated Highland High School and the relationship has been mutually beneficial. Since the goal according to GPS is as follows: "we are now looking at proposed boundary changes in order to ensure we can continue to give all of our students and families a superior education..." It seems that retaining our community at Highland High School accomplishes that goal. It should be remembered that many of us purchased our homes in part because of the schools our children would attend. It should not be changed now.
Do not change the boundaries. Negative effect on home values and damaging to the kids in our neighborhood.

Val Vista Lakes is and has always been a prized development within our Gilbert community. Our kids attend Highland High School and are involved in sports and other activities there. Forcing them to move to another school will damage their academic years. They've spent years developing relationships, with their teachers, peers, and teams. This will force parents to move, sell their homes, lose property value, and all to save their kids from being forced to attend at a school that performs far below HHS. Please don't do this.

I oppose the proposed boundary changes that would significantly affect VVL.

I am against the new boundary proposal for Val Vista Lakes to be redirected to Gilbert High School.
No reason for this. Plenty of neighbors I speak to chose this neighborhood because of Highland.

1. Highland High was the reason we purchased our house in VVL, paid premium price and expect premium education for our little scholars.
2. I will not hesitate to personally sue or initiate class-action law-suit against the Gilbert School District and town of Gilbert should the VVL school boundary change.
3. I trust GSD will quickly realize how absent-minded this boundary change sounds.
Against the proposed boundary change.

No.
Not fair to current homeowners.
I will not sacrifice our children's educations or home values!
These boundary changes will be a downgrade to our residents.
Please keep our boundaries the way they are. We love Highland Junior high and Highland high school
Thank you!
