Please do not change the high school Val Vista Lakes boundaries. We purchased a home here so we would be in the HHS boundaries.

I disagree with the boundary change due to many reasons including , not enough time given to families and students regarding proposal, poor planning of the proposed change having the community forum just before Thanksgiving , and disrupting communities that were formed e.g VVL that has gone back many years, unfair to students who will lead have to compete with each other to get into school of choice, not treating each student or family as with individual needs, instead they are treated as numbers ; student athletes are affected , music students are affected. There are many more reasons I am strongly opposed but these are just a few.

I do not agree with the change of the school system. I do not feel comfortable with the area of the other school location and it is also an inconvenience to the family.

We bough our home specifically so our children could go to Highland High School. We have one left who is very involved in the excellent music program and who would lose her transportation.
