You are talking about moving a long established community, one of the first planned communities in Gilbert, to accommodate for MESA residents from Eastmark and other developments who chose to buy homes outside of GPS boundaries. Let them live with that decision rather than forcing an entire community to attend schools that they did not choose when they bought in Val Vista Lakes. This is an arbitrary decision that the board appears to not be listening to those whom it affects, and if the board approves this change, rest assured that OUR vote will be affecting your position on the school board in the next election.
So upset about this. I moved into this neighborhood how many reasons one of the big reasons was the school .

The Highland Jr/High schools have the programs, teachers and parent support I am looking for. I will be requesting a boundary exception to remain with these school should the boundaries change.
