Unreal. This is why people want to leave New Jersey, because we are being ripped off. Enough is enough. I pay high enough taxes, I should be able to use a paddle board without paying a fee.

that is ridiculous that there would be a $5.00 fee for non-motorized boats..... they are not polluting the bay with the gas/oil that they expel.... nor are they driving like wild animals when they are out in there kayak ...like the ignorant boat owners of CIGARETTE BOAT who can't see over the bow of there boat and can cause death to them who are in the kayak, canoe., .they stick close to shore.. they are in by sundown..... You definitely need to re-group on this and let the tourists and home owners enjoy why they come to LBI to enjoy the water and relax..... go after the motor boats if you need revenue for your town..... and I am sure you are receiving pressure from the $$$$$

This is getting ridiculous. Unless you are helping me put my kayak in the water and taking it out for me, no monies need be exchanged. Didn't know ship bottom owned the bay now!!!

For the non resident owners this is taxation without representation since we are not allowed to vote int he town. But i can vote on where I spend my discretionary dollars.

A not well thought out $$ grab. We need to encourage people to enjoy our town, not drive them away. They can just go somewhere else and buy their lunch and souvenirs there, too.

Taxing or charging a fee for non motorized watercraft seems excessive and absurd. But i would lime to know the rationale behind this idea. What services are being provided in this charge? Why is this fee being imposed? Do the song lyrics ......."cut down the trees... put em in a tree musuem...charged the people a dollar and a half just to see 'em........
