I think always having a hand out to get money from people is wrong. Then When someone doesn't pay are they going to fine them?? Always looking to somehow get more money and give people a hard time is wrong. Hopefully this doesn't go through.

I grew up spending my summers in Ship Bottom. From sun up to sun down I was in the bay sailing, rowing, fishing, clamming and crabbing. Taxing that would be horrible.

Ship Bottom is just incenting people to go to other towns to put in their kayaks and paddle boards - and spend their money elsewhere. Really poor idea!

This is an activity that is done by residents and tourists as enjoyment and does not need to be charged. It brings in other revenue in other ways

This is ridiculous. I would just choose another location and spend the other money I would have spent over course of my day elsewhere. Terrible for tourism.
