This fee is ridiculous. Sup, kayaks canoes etc do no harm to the environment. There are parking fees, rental fees, beach fees, enough already.

Water access shouldn't only be for the wealthy! NJ towns already charge beach access fees in the form of beach badges. How can you justify a per use expense from non motorized crafts as anything but a tax?! Shame on you. It's pure greed.

The Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay are natural resources which must be accessible to all citizens. The limiting of access to these resources must be stopped

This is a crazy try at justifiying someone's job at town hall, if more tax money is needed, it's time to cut back the size of government

Our bays and oceans should be free to the public for non-motorized recreation.

What's next, charging residents of Barnegat and Beach Haven to breathe fresh air as they drive thru town?

Are you kidding me? How about some fiscal responsibility instead of dipping your hands further into our pockets. Anyone within the county with year round residence should be exempt at the minimum.

These nonmotorized watercraft are hand carried and require no launch area They should not be charged for something they do not use

I know "Sandy" gave you a hard time, but you can't charge people for sneezing to make up for it. The waterways of our country are our right to use and enjoy. If you want the summer folk to keep supporting your services, please don't chase them away.
