The area doesn't need a 88 room boarding house with inadequate parking. This will devalue everyone property.

Developments being built should be able to accommodate the residents living there. Brighton Le Sands is currently congested and to build a development and not be able to accommodate their parking needs is negligence, this action will create more havoc in our streets and devalue the beauty of Brighton. When approving such developments, all the needs of our current and future residence needs to be considered as well as the the suburbs surrounding and lovely beachside.

Not a very suitable spot for this sort of housing, should be closer to a train station where there are others like this

After visiting the two smaller boarding houses that were in Bay St, Rockdale until they were redeveloped in 2015, I would be concerned that any boarding house was built in Brighton, especially one that size. The Police were there constantly and the residents were all suffering from either, drug and or alcohol abuse or mental health issues. Bay St is not the place to place to build this boarding house and expose both residents and tourists to the issues that will arise if it is to be built.

Totally unsuitable for Brighton's main street.
11 storeys is too high for the narrow frontage.
22 parking spaces is way too few, by about a 100.
The design is ugly.
The parking study didn't even measure traffic at the Bay/Moate intersection which is right in front of this proposed development.
The proper place for boarding houses is next to police stations.
Then the residents don't have too far to go for their daily bail reporting.
And the police don't have too far to go for a drug raid.

If you look at Bayside council website regarding this development, it's interesting to find out that when council staff publish submissions on their website, they always count the "objection" figures wrong, and if the submission includes 20 odd signatures objecting to the development, it is counted as ONE objection.

i object to this boarding house development in Brighton. It proves no benefit to Brighton-Le-Sands, it is not suitable for this suburb. Why give prime location to this type of development...

Stop the development on Bay Street , Brighton -Le-Sands. The area is already congested & overcrowded. This will only increase traffic & crimes

I think council should issue parking permits to local residents and install parking metres to control the crowd.
