Brighton Le Sands needs more parking space and more police - not more potential trouble and less space.

This will make brighton more crowded and danger for the families and girls, you can build it somewhere else.

Bay street in brighton is a wind tunnel due to the high rise and gets very little sun. The city side of the street is nearly all ugly high rise and the only thing attractive about the street is that the southern side has remained low rise. Please do not clutter the street any more, or the brighton residents will make sure you do not keep your present position in council. Bay street needs substantial funding and upgrade not another ugly high rise.

I oppose this development due to the type of people it could attract to the area. And adding to the already traffic congestion on the street.

Boarding houses are encouraged near train lines. Brighton-Le-Sands is a boutique suburb well away from train lines. Luxury Apartments with appropriate parking YES. Crime is already up in Brighton, cars being burnt, shootings, bombings. yeah great move Council!!!! NOT

I don't want the bad, disgusting stories that appear in news about bad neighbourhoods to end up happening here.

This is a very bad idea and will devalue our area.

I'm concerned about this leading to more crime and social problems. It will lower the value of our area.

This will increase crime in an area that is known for being residential, safe and quiet.

Absolutely opposed to this planned monstrosity 11 storey being built in our beautiful bayside suburb of Brighton-Le-Sands.

As a Brighton Le Sands resident, there is already an overcrowding of cars, of dodgy people, theft is rife. Our building is broken into regularly because of some of the govt housing nearby. There are lots of elderly and disabled people in this area who are vulnerable to those who might take advantage. A building of this size and the amount of residents it will attract does not fit into the already congested area. The police let hoons terrorise the streets as it is now. I can only imagine how bad things could get.

The height of this proposed building is innappropriate for the surroundings, making it the tallest building in Brighton Le Sands. There is not enough public transport or street parking to cater for a building which doesn't have enough parking spots for its residents. Surely this doesn't even fit within a residential zone?

Brighton-Le-Sands has enough problems in terms of parking and inappropriate behaviour and to add a large boarding house development will further add to the current issues. I am totally opposed to this development.

Already an overpopulated suburb and council does nothing to improve the parking situation. Concerned about the type of people this development will attract.

This would be another nail in the coffin for Brighton le Sands. Not only is it an awful looking building, it will attract another undesirable element to the area as well as congestion, over crowding, over shadowing, noise pollution and general extra waste polution.

Don't want the crime that this will bring. Don't want the extra congestion this will bring. I work 2 jobs and pay as much as i can to live in a nice suburb, why should others who do not have to work for it get to live here (not fair).
