Stop the boarding house 48 McLachlan Ave Long Jetty

It has taken many years for Long Jetty to get it's good name back. Don't do this to the families that have moved here in good faith and paid a premium to be near the beach.

Why would this even be considered when the locals have worked so hard to clean up the area and have done such a great job??

Make it a Lolly shop again , there’s already enough idiots that can’t control there behavior in flats like that like in captain cook Cres and boniview st

We all understand these types of housing need to exist , but lets keep them spread out and evenly placed in all suburbs . Long Jetty and surrounds already has its fair share . Where will the parking be for 8 rooms on a just over 400m2 block?

Don't do this to such a beautiful family area

Not fair for everyone that has worked hard and paid to live so close to the beach. Put it out West

No boarding house. This is a reputable area that has only just got out of a low socio economic zone, we do not want to go backward.

Local resident with a young family. The area and surrounding areas have already become bad enough since I myself was a kid.. bringing a boarding house will only further the crap spreading

Long Jetty has come a long way to becoming an eclectic community with young families and an interesting place to visit, shop and have a cuppa with friends. A boarding house will send this area back decades!

This is not the right site for a boarding house, of any kind.
